We’re thrilled to share some exciting news — five members of our team across Snowdonia Hospitality & Leisure have achieved Gold Status in the Conwy Tourism Ambassador Course, part of the national Wales Ambassador Scheme. This recognition celebrates our passion for sharing the very best of Conwy and North Wales with our visitors.
The Wales Ambassador Scheme is designed to deepen knowledge of local culture, heritage, and natural beauty, helping those in the tourism industry provide visitors with truly memorable experiences.
The scheme offers online learning modules that explore everything from Welsh history and language to local wildlife, attractions, and sustainability. Participants progress through three levels — Bronze, Silver, and Gold — gaining a richer understanding of what makes Wales unique along the way.
Our journey began with a shared passion for our region and a desire to continually improve how we tell the local story of culture & heritage via a modern lens. Through the Ambassador programme, our team learned more about the area’s hidden gems, fascinating history, and environmental priorities.
Now, with five of us achieving Gold Ambassador status, we’re proud to be among those helping to promote responsible, informed tourism in North Wales.
We’re committed to continuing our learning journey and supporting the Wales Ambassador initiative. We hope to inspire more people to discover, respect, and enjoy all that Conwy and North Wales have to offer.
