FAQ’S

When will I be able to stay?

We are open for accommodation bookings and looking really busy!

Our Reservations team are doing their best to respond to all enquiries as soon as they can, but we do suggest that where possible you make your hotel booking via our online system.

Can I book a Table?

Yes – you can check out availability and book your table HERE or if you’re staying with us just ask at reception

Please note – due to staff shortages the Bridge Restaurant is closed on Monday & Tuesday evenings. Unfortunatley current industry circumstances are completley out of our control and in order to ensure the welfare of our teams we have had to take this unprecedented decision. Thank you in advance for your understanding and support.

Will I have to wear a face covering?

No from 28.3.22 face coverings are no longer mandatory in public places in Wales with the exception of healthcare settings.

What else is open?

Attractions in Wales are open in line with the Welsh Gov Covid Plan. Please remember that some activities and attractions are pre-bookable only and social distancing remains very much a focus. And if youre not here for an attraction, our magnificent scenery never stopped looking breathtaking..

What should I expect when I visit?

Your arrival experience may look a little different in this new normal, but we hope it will feel the same; ultimately, it will still be our people caring for you and delivering the same attention to detail and personalised hospitality that you are used to at The Waterloo Hotel. We want to reassure you that we still have measures in place to keep you and our teams safe so that you can confidently enjoy a stay with us.

What facilities will be open?

Our Leisure facilities are now fully reopen in line with Welsh Assembly Guidance. Please contact Stations directly for details of any pre-bookable slots on 01690 360686

What have your team been doing?

We were regular touch with our team members during firebreaks and lockdowns. Ensuring they were kept informed and updated with any new developments. All team members have undertaken a Covid Aware Certificate Module accredited by the Institute of Hospitality before returning to the workplace. As well as for your safety, our teams welfare and heightened knowledge is of paramount importance to our business.

How will I know if any further changes are made?

As we hear the latest Government directives, we’ll update all our pre-arrivals with email communication to provide additional information relating to health and hygiene.

What extra cleaning is taking place?

As a hotel with restaurants, we already operate with strict cleaning and health and safety measures, but we will now be taking extra steps to ensure that all areas are thoroughly sanitised, clean and compliant.

• All team members will be trained in these new standards and timings of cleaning.
• Early Check In will be unavailable to allow for enhanced cleaning procedures.
• We provide hand sanitiser for at every entrance point and throughout the building
• We have implemented enhanced cleaning and sanitising in corridors and at all touch points.
• We have issued team members with additional PPE to keep both them and you safe

What about social distancing?

Luckily we have some very clever Health and Safety minds in our business who have come up with simple effective ideas like mirrors on stairwells and non touch corridor lighting as well as marking out distances. For all of you who’ve stayed with us before you’ll know we have Lodge rooms which have their own outside spaces – perfect for keeping separate.

We’re also asking all our guests to use their common sense and be responsible for their own social distancing during their stay when moving around the site.

What if I’m from an area which is in a local lockdown or imposed Tier restrictions?

Any guests or future guests must comply with the regulations applicable to their permanent residence. Please check Welsh Government updates for the type of lockdown and travel restrictions in place before travelling to stay with us.

We look forward to Welcoming you back to Betws-y-Coed – Croeso Nôl i Betws
