Awards 2026

Celebrating Excellence at the North Wales Work-Based Learning Awards

On Wednesday 4 February, we were delighted to attend the North Wales Work-Based Learning Awards at Venue Cymru. The awards celebrate individual achievement and recognise the vital role played by employers who support work-based learning, alongside the training providers delivering apprenticeships across the region.

We are incredibly proud to be a sponsor at this year’s awards and would like to congratulate all the finalists and winners on achieving their qualifications and being nominated for the Awards. It was inspiring to hear so many powerful stories of learning, growth, and personal development accross all industries in North Wales.

Speaking at the awards, Gwenllian Roberts, Executive Director – Commercial Development at Busnes@LlandrilloMenai, commented:

“At the heart of these awards are apprentices developing the skills, confidence and professionalism to succeed in the workplace. Their success relies on employers who support apprentices to grow and take on real responsibility in their roles. This partnership between individuals, businesses and training providers helps retain talent and build capacity from within businesses, and ensures a skilled workforce to support the growth of the North Wales economy.”

Taking place between 9 and 15 February 2026Apprenticeship Week Wales is an annual, week-long celebration of apprenticeships and the value they bring to learners, employers, and the wider Welsh economy.
